The Country Recording Artist Performs, Hands Out Gifts at Give Kids The World Village

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (November 12, 2015) – Country recording artist and philanthropist Macy Martin finished off a three week radio tour in support of her latest single, “Baby What Ya Doing”, with a trip to Kissimmee to perform for children and families at the Give Kids The World Village (GKTW) on Wednesday, November 11.The GKTW Village is a 79-acre, nonprofit “storybook” resort, located near Central Florida’s most beloved attractions, where children with life threatening illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacations.

“Philanthropy has always been an incredibly important facet of my life and career,” said Martin. “Having started my own non-profit geared toward children, I’ve always had a soft-spot for anyone struggling to get by – be it because of a health condition or lack of basic necessities. I’m thrilled to be able to take part in the wonderful program Give Kids The World has set up.”

At just seven, Martin started Macy’s Toy Box, a non-profit that collects new and gently used to toys for those less fortunate year-round. In addition to her performance Wednesday, Martin met with children at the village and handed out over 100 stuffed “Tumbles” bears – the Macy’s Toy Box mascot (see photo above).”Baby What Ya Doing” is the second single off of Martin’s latest album, “Find My Melody” – produced by Kent Wells (Dolly Parton). Her first single, “Back to Reality”, made it to #57 on the MusicRow Country Breakout chart and the video for the single aired regularly on Great American Country (GAC), ZUUS Country and several other regional outlets nationwide. To learn more about Give Kids The World, visit
